Overview
Creating a simple message that will be stored in Meridian Explorer and refers to a Patient. This is not the same as email which is not stored in MeridianExplorer.
Click on the Create Simple Message icon.
The following 
and the following dialog box will appear.
Choose the Patient the message is about by clicking 
to get the Lookup Patient dialog box.
Use the 
to select who you are sending the message to.
Choose the report title (Consultation Note would be easiest)
Type your messageClick Send , and click OK to send.
